Proving what a model actually said, one screenshot at a time
A generated answer, a config screen, an error message: none of it stays put once you close the window. PrintScreen is a free Windows tool that captures the region you select and copies, saves, or turns it into a shareable link, without a subscription or a watermark added to the image.
Most AI work leaves nothing behind on its own. A result you want to keep, compare against a later run, or put in a bug report has to be captured the moment it is on screen, and that is the one job PrintScreen is built for on Windows 10 and 11, without extra features that get in the way of a quick capture.

The 3 things one capture gives you
Press the Prt Scr key and select the area you need. From that single capture you can copy the image to paste elsewhere, save it as a file on your machine, or generate a short link that opens the image without you sending a file at all. Which one you use depends on where the result needs to end up.
A concrete case: reporting a bad output
When a generated answer is wrong in a way you want to flag, a screenshot of the exact text on screen is more useful than retyping it from memory, because retyping loses formatting and can quietly fix the error you were trying to report. Capture it, save the file, and attach it to wherever the report goes.
A concrete case: comparing 2 runs
If you change a prompt and want to see what actually moved, a screenshot of each result side by side beats trying to hold the first version in your head while reading the second. Save both with names that identify which run is which, and you have a record you can look back at instead of a memory of it, weeks later when you have forgotten the exact wording.
Free with no watermark, Windows only
PrintScreen costs nothing, has no trial period to run out, and does not stamp a watermark on what you save. The tradeoff is platform: it runs on Windows 10 and 11 only, and on macOS or Linux the site itself tells you to use the operating system's own built-in screenshot tools instead.
What it will not do for you
It does not join several scrolled screens into one long image, does not add arrows, text or blur on top of the capture, has no OCR to pull text back out of a picture, and keeps no cloud library of what you have saved. It captures one screen region; anything beyond that, editing, organising, searching past captures, is a separate step you do yourself with other tools.
